What to do if my Wolfcom Vision Security Camera will not start recording?
    • K
      Kevin WoodwardAug 2, 2025
If your Wolfcom Security Camera won't start recording, it might be due to a dead battery. Use the included USB cable and power adapter to charge it for at least 2 hours. The pilot light will turn yellow while charging and green when fully charged. Alternatively, the memory may be full, requiring you to connect the camera to your PC using the Wolfcom Vision setup software and delete files. Another reason could be that the unit is frozen, which can be resolved by pressing the reset button at the bottom of the unit with a small pointed object.

If your Wolfcom Security Camera doesn't power on, it could be due to a dead battery. Charge it for at least 2 hours using the included USB cable and power adapter until the pilot light turns green. If the unit is frozen, possibly from sliding multiple switches simultaneously, use a small pointed object to press the reset button at the bottom of the unit. Additionally, the camera might have powered off due to the overheat sensor activating in high temperatures; in this case, also use the reset button.

If your PC doesn't recognize your Wolfcom Security Camera when plugged in, ensure that the drivers have been installed into your PC. Also, verify that you are using the included USB cable. If the issue persists, the USB cable may be damaged, and you should replace it with a Wolfcom Vision cable. If the USB port on the unit is damaged, contact your local dealer or representative.
