CAUTION! DO NOT try to force the carriage above the 27" (68 cm) mark or
below the 1" (2.54 cm) mark. Damage to the up/down system may result.
5.3 Blade Guide Arm Operation
1. Estimate the maximum width of the log.
The outer blade guide should be adjusted to clear the widest section of the log by less than 1"
(25.4 mm).
2. Use the blade guide arm lever to adjust the outer blade guide as necessary.
3. Pull the lever toward you to move the arm in; push the lever away from you to move the arm out.
