When configuring for RS-485, termination resistors (120 ) are needed at each
end of the network. Note the location of the resistor on the device. The ProTech
has the termination resistor built into the module, jumpers are necessary
between terminals 14 – 15 and 18 – 19 to activate the termination.
Configuration –
Configuration of the MESR901 is done through Vlinx Modbus Gateway Manager.
The configuration software is provided with the device.
