Basic Regulations
Xerox has tested this printer to electromagnetic emission and immunity standards. These standards are designed to
mitigate interference caused or received by this printer in a typical office environment.
UNITED STATES FCC REGULATIONS
This equipment is tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 and
Part 18 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide a reasonable protection against harmful interference
when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate a
radio frequency energy. If the equipment is not installed and used in accordance with these instructions, it can
cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to
cause harmful interference. Users are required to correct the interference at their own expense.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference with one or more of the
following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit that is different from where the receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio or TV technician for help.

this equipment.
