Sheet Retime Module (SRM)
The Sheet Retime Module (SRM) is a paper path timing module required to be installed only on 157 or
314 systems with a single Basic Finishing Module (a BFM, BFM Plus or a Direct Connect BFM).
The SRM is located before the BFM in the configuration. It enables BFM stapling capabilities and increases
the speed of the sheets as they enter the BFM. It provides the needed gap between prints for the BFM
to process sets at 157 or 314 ppm and staple sets at this full speed.
Note
Only A4/8.5 x 11 inch paper will run at the full 157 ppm or 314 ppm speed. Tab jobs and stock sizes less
than 8.2 inches (208mm) will run at reduced productivity.
Note
Small stock sizes less than 6.9 inches (175mm), such as A5 paper, cannot be run through the SRM.

When running tab stock mixed with 8.5 x 11 in/A4 body stock enable the Improve Initial Pages
Registration within Set feature from Print Manager/Stacking area.
