Symptom Cause Solution
Condensation inside the printer
causes partial blanks or creased
paper.
Turn on the printer and leave it on for at
least one hour remove the condensation.

Vertical blanks The lenses are being blocked. Clean the lenses inside of the printer. For

The printer is worn or damaged. For assistance, go to the Xerox

The toner cartridges are not
Xerox
®
toner cartridges.
Replace the toner cartridges with
genuine Xerox
®
toner cartridges. For
details, see Consumables on page 136.
Slanted printing The paper guides are not
correctly adjusted to the paper
size.
Reset the paper tray guides. For details,
see Loading Paper on page 69.
Colors are blurry or there is white
area around objects
Color-to-color alignment is not
correct.
Perform an automatic color registration
adjustment. For details, see Color
Registration on page 131.
