Alternatively, the fuel lines, fuel filter, air cleaner, or muffler could be clogged; in this case, clean or replace the clogged parts. An improperly adjusted carburetor can also cause stalling; readjust the idle and main/slow needle adjusting screw. Finally, the engine may have overheated; allow it to cool down and open the main needle adjusting screw 30° turn richer (CCW).
