b. Lubricate the O-ring “3” of the new oil filter with a
thin coat of engine oil.
c. Tighten the new oil filter to specification with an oil
filter wrench.

5. Install:
• Oil drain bolt gasket “1”
• Oil drain bolt “2”
6. Fill:
• Engine oil
Make sure to fill with the recommended engine oil
from the oil filler hole “1” in the crankcase.
7. Check:
• Engine oil level
(Refer to “ENGINE OIL LEVEL” on page 2-5)
Make sure the O-ring “3” is positioned correctly in the
groove of the oil filter.

Oil filter:
14 N·m (1.4 kgf·m, 10 lb·ft)
