8. Install:
• Connecting rod cap #2 “1”
• Connecting rod cap #2 bolts “2”
TIP
• Make sure that the “ ” mark “a” on the connecting rod #2
is aligned with the “ ” mark “b” on the connecting rod cap
#2.
• Tighten the connecting rod cap #2 bolts alternately two
to three times.
9. Install:
• Camshaft
(Refer to “INSTALLING THE VALVE LIFTERS AND
CAMSHAFT” on page 3-44)
• Crankcase cover 1
(Refer to “INSTALLING THE CRANKCASE COVER
1” on page 3-46)
