3.3.2 Remove Plastic Shield
The Plastic Shield is a safety feature to protect the user from hazardous voltage when the inverter is
energized. The shield must be removed prior to securing the AC and DC conductors in the Wiring Box.
Remove the shield, shown in transparent salmon color in Figure 3-7, using a #2 Phillips-head screwdriver.

With the shield removed, the inverter is ready for wiring, as shown in Figure 3-8.
