  If the display device does not display the time and date correctly, and you have configured the system to obtain the time and date from the NTP server automatically, ensure that the SNTP server and time zone are configured correctly in the system and that the connection between the system and the NTP server is working properly. If you have configured the system to obtain the time and date manually, ensure that you have configured the time and date correctly.

  If the system fails to call the far site, check the network availability of both the near and far sites. Verify that the far site hasn't enabled the DND (Do Not Disturb) feature. Ensure accounts are correctly registered and the appropriate account is used for the call. Confirm the number you're calling is correct and that the far site isn't rejecting your call. Check if a firewall is blocking inbound traffic, if the far site has reached its call-in limit, if encryption settings are compatible, and if both sites support the same call protocol.

  If you can't hear the other site clearly, ensure that the speaker volume of the far site is not set too low. Muffled audio reception from the far side may be caused by highly reverberant rooms, so speak in close proximity to the phone. Adjust the priority order for your audio codec if you have chosen a low-bandwidth audio codec to be first. For best results, ensure that the caller is using a Yealink video conferencing system. Dust and debris may cause audio quality issues, so use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the top surface of the phone if necessary.

Why does the far-site display a black screen when the local site starts a presentation on my Yealink VC120 Conference System?

  If the far-site displays a black screen when the local site starts a presentation, this may be due to the difference between the Signaling Server address and the Media Server address. The actual address is different from the negotiated address, so starting a presentation in this situation will result in the failure of sending packets to the correct address. You can disable the network adaptive feature so that the system will send packets to the negotiated address rather than the actual address.

  If the network keeps losing packets, check if the network is available and the LED indicator on the left of the Internet port is green. Try using a low-speed connection to see if packets are still lost. Also, check the configuration of the network speed and duplex mode on the system, switch, and router.
