  If you can’t hear the other site clearly, ensure that their speaker volume is not set too low. Muffled audio may be due to highly reverberant rooms. Adjust the priority order for your audio codec, especially if a low-bandwidth codec is first. For best results, ensure the caller uses a Yealink video conferencing system. Dust and debris may also affect audio quality.

  If the display device is black, check the connection between the display device and the VC400/VC120 Codec. It may also be that the system or the display device is in sleep mode. Press any key on the video conferencing phone or the remote control to resume system operation or press the power button on the remote control or on the display device. Also, verify that you have selected the correct video input source; try switching the video input source.

  If your system fails to call the far site, verify the network availability of both the local and far sites. Also, check if the far site has enabled the DND (Do Not Disturb) feature or has reached its maximum call-in limitation. Ensure the accounts are registered correctly and that the system uses the appropriate account to call the far site, and confirm that the number you're calling is correct. Also, verify that the far site isn't rejecting your call and that the firewall isn't blocking inbound traffic from the other site. If your local site uses encryption, ensure the far site enables encryption, too. Finally, ensure that the far site supports the same call protocol as the local site.
