  If the transmitted-light illuminator on your Zeiss Microscope does not light up, first ensure that the transmitted light is switched ON and not dimmed by pressing and turning the rotary/push-button to switch the illumination ON and increase its intensity. If it still doesn't light up, check if the transmitted light is properly connected by opening the stand K EDU or K LAB and connecting the plug-in connectors of the LED illumination.
