Shutdown
42.1 Overview
Use this to shutdown the device in preparation for disconnecting the power.
Always use the Maintenance > Shutdown > Shutdown screen or the
“shutdown” command before you turn off the Zyxel Device or remove
the power. Not doing so can cause the firmware to become corrupt.
42.1.1 What You Need To Know
Shutdown writes all cached data to the local storage and stops the system processes.
42.2 The Shutdown Screen
To access this screen, click Maintenance > Shutdown.

Click the Shutdown button to shut down the Zyxel Device. Wait for the device to shut down before you
manually turn off or remove the power. It does not turn off the power.
You can also use the CLI command shutdown to shutdown the Zyxel Device.
