4.7.2. Test Failures/Return for Service
In the event of a communication function failure, the WX-PA will display "COMM ERROR",
and will then proceed with the waveform output test. If ·COMM ERROR" is reported, or if any
of the waveforms are out of tolerance, the WX-PA should be returned for service.
Before returning a system to 3M, ensure that the following steps have been taken:
Call 3M Service Department (614)847-2070 to report the failure, and to receive
a Return Authorization Number.
Copy and complete the complaint form Figure 4.5 and return the completed copy
along with the repair to:
