Alarms
Block 4 alarms Not Activated Alarm
Relay 4 Not activated and no need to connect to MDF.
For example, to detect urgent alarms relay 1 is used. It is located on the fourth
column from the left of the X8 (or X9) control ports. The contacts are marked
10, 11, and 12, where 10 is the common port and,
in normal operation, 11 the
normally closed port, and 12 the normally open port, see Figure 111 on page
136.
One way to connect the urgent alarms would be to tie the common port 10 to
the MDF and from there to the ALU2 input. Port 11 can be left unconnected
and port 12, through the MDF, tied to ground. With the command alarm_input
the parameter -active is set to closed to generate an alarm when the relay
is activated.
