Figure 50 Installing the Fan Unit
• Mount four captive nuts (A) ( Section 4.4 on page 41 ) according to the
number positions shown, Page 66 and Page 67 .
• Insert the two slides (D) with springs (E), Page 66 and fasten them with
the two screws (F).
• Slide the fan unit in position.
• Fasten the fan unit to the four captive nuts (A) in the cabinet. using the
four screws (C), Page 67 .
Make sure that no gap is left between subrack A, and the fan unit.
4.9.1 Installing Upper Air Plate
Note: The upper air plate is only mandatory if hardware will be installed
above the fan unit.
