9 INSTALL ATION
9.4.1 UPS Input connections

TO ENSURE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE UPS, THE VOLTAGE TOTAL HARMONIC DISTORTION (THDu) OF
INDICATED VALUES ARE EXCEEDED, PLEASE CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER
9.4.1.1 Mains supply and earth connection
To ensure protection of personnel during the installation of UPS make sure that the connections are
performed under the following conditions:
• No mains voltage is present
• All Loads are shut down and disconnected
• UPS is shut down and voltage-free
• UPS Modules are fitted in correct position
• Maintenance Bypass Q1 is open and in the OFF position
• Remove terminal cover of the UPS
• Connect first the ground-wire coming from the local power grid source to the terminal X7-PE (PE).
9.4.1.2 Single input feed
To achieve correct input cabling and protection, please refer to the chapter 9.3.
For single input feed connect the mains input cable to UPS terminal block according to the following
table:

There is a cable-fixing rail below the connection terminal of the UPS to ensure that the cables have been
fastened properly. Keep the phase rotation in a clockwise direction.
9.4.1.3 Dual input feed
To achieve correct input cabling and protection, please refer to the chapter 9.3.
For dual input feed remove the common input busbar and connect the rectifier mains and bypass
mains input cables to UPS terminal block according to the following table:
