4.7.1. Replacement of motor, axis 1

Refitting, motor axis 1
The procedure below details how to refit the motor, axis 1.
4. Remove the connection box by unscrewing its
three attachment screws and plain washers.
Shown in the figure Location of
motor, axis 1 on page 151.
5. Use a marker pen to mark the position of the
motor (A).

6. Unscrew the four attachment screws and
washers of the motor.

7. Gently lift the motor straight up, making sure not
to damage the motor pinion.

Danger!
Turn off all electric power, hydraulic and
pneumatic pressure supplies to the robot!
2. Check that the assembly surfaces are clean and
the motor is unscratched.
3. Fit the new o-ring. Always fit a new one, see art. no. in
Required equipment on page 152.
4. Fit the motor by gently lowering it straight down. Note the position of the motor! Use
the mark , made on the motor base
before removal. See also orientation
of the holes on top of the motor,
shown in the figure Location of
motor, axis 1 on page 151.
5. Tighten the four attachment screws and washers. 4 pcs. TIghtening torque: 2 Nm.
6. In order to release the brakes, connect the 24
VDC power supply to the motor.
Connect power supply to connector
R3.MP1:
+ : pin 7
- : pin 8
