O-rings
The procedure below details how to fit o-rings.
2. Clean the surfaces properly and in accordance with ABB recommendations.
3. Distribute the sealing compound evenly over the surface, preferably with a brush.
4. Tighten the screws evenly when fastening the flange joint.

1. Ensure that the correct o-ring size is used.
2. Check the o-ring for surface defects, burrs, shape accuracy, etc. Defective o-rings may
not be used.
3. Check the o-ring grooves.
The grooves must be geometrically correct and free from pores
and contamination.
Defective o-rings may
not be used.
4. Lubricate the o-ring with grease.
5. Tighten the screws evenly when assembling.
