Lifting
WARNING!
Inspect the container before any activity. Make sure that the container has no
protuberance, enough rings and is in good condition. Ignorance of this message
can cause physical injury, death or damage to the equipment.
Before lifting the MVCS, follow these instructions.
• Protect the corners of the MVCS against shock.
• The minimum rated loading capacity of each sling is eight tons.
• The minimum length of each sling is five meters.
• Adjust the length of lifting slings so that the MVCS does not tilt during lifting.
• Do not allow the lifting slings to scratch the walls or roof. Damaged paint can lead to
corrosion.
• Use a guide wire attached to a lower corner of the MVCS to prevent rotation.
