more shots are attempted. The expression “1*3ph” should be understood as “Only
one shot at three-phase auto reclosing”.

ARMode
= 1ph + 1*2/3ph, 1-phase, 2-phase or 3-phase reclosing in
the first shot
M12391-146 v5
At single-phase or two-phase tripping, the operation is as in the above described
example, program mode 1/2/3ph. If the first reclosing shot fails, a three-phase trip
will be issued and three-phase reclosing will follow, if selected. At two-phase or
three-phase trip a failure of a two-phase or three-phase auto reclosing attempt will
inhibit the auto recloser. No more shots are attempted. The expression “1*2/3ph”
should be understood as “Only one shot at two-phase or three-phase auto
reclosing”.

A start of a new auto reclosing cycle during the set “reclaim time” is blocked when
the set number of reclosing shots have been reached.
15.2.2.14 External selection of auto reclosing mode
M12391-241 v5
The auto reclosing mode can be selected by use of available logic function blocks.
Below is an example where the choice of mode, ARMode=3ph or
