      If you're not receiving glucose alarms on your Abbott Blood Glucose Meter, first, ensure that you have turned the alarms on in the settings. Go to the Settings and select Alarms. Also, the sensor must be within 6 metres (20 ft) of the reader to receive alarms. Make sure the reader is within this range.
