Hall Effect Sensor: is atransducer that is used to measure current and voltage.
I/O (Input/Output) Module: is interface card where data is transferred to accomplish a
function.
Parity: refers to a technique of checking whetherdatahas been lost or written over when
it is moved from one place in storage to another or when transmitted. Usually parity has
odd parity, even parity or no parity. ‘No parity’ means it will not transmit or check a parity
bit.
Power: is the rate at whichelectric energyis transferred by anelectric circuit. Power is an
instantaneous reading. Power = Voltage X Current, measured in unit of watts.
RO(Relay Output): A relay is an electrical switch that opens and closes under control of
another electrical circuit. Existence of relays as outputs makes it easier to connect with
external devices.
Shunt: is a device which allowselectric currentto pass around another point in
thecircuitby creating a low resistance path.
