Appendix 10 / Serial I/O Board
The Serial I/O board (AUX 4249) provides a serial interface for the Digital Line Guide and Remote
Stations.
Field installation of Serial I/O board:
5. Check header P2 on the controller board - straighten any bent pins.
6. Align the socket on the underside of the Serial I/O board with header P2 on the controller
board.
7. Push the Serial I/O board firmly onto header P2.
8. Secure the Serial I/O board to the standoffs with four #4-40, 1/4 inch long machine screws
and four #4 internal tooth star washers.
