7. Remove the optical drive cover.
Removing the Heatsink
WARNING:The heatsink becomes very hot when the system is on. NEVER touch the heatsink with any metal
or with your hands.
1. See “Removing the Top Cover” on page 32.
2. Use a long-nosed screwdriver to loosen the four screws on the heatsink.
3. Lift the heatsink off the mainboard.
