Option Selection
0 = none
1 = Bell Supervision†
4 = using Audio Alarm Verification (AAV) unit
8 = Enable Exit delay restart ††
Select the desired options by adding the values of each desired option.
Multiple choice example: for both AAV and Exit delay restart†, enter
# + 12 (4 + 8); for all (1 + 4 + 8), enter # + 13.
UL installations cannot use AAV.
If bell supervision is selected, the red jumper on the PC board must
be cut.
†“Exit Delay Restart” option allows use of the [
] key to restart the
exit delay at any time when the system is armed STAY or INSTANT.
This will then allow the user to let someone in through an entry/exit
door, without having to disarm the system and then re-arm it again.
IMPORTANT: AAV should not be used when Paging or Alarm
Reports are being sent to a Secondary number. If this is done, the
call to the Secondary number by the communicator after the alarm
report will prevent the AAV from taking control of the telephone line,
and the AAV “Listen in” session cannot take place.
