H. Recall
The RECALL button provides access (via the printer and/or serial
port, not the display), at “Cryoscope Ready”, to the test results
and messages stored in the instrument memory. This feature is par-
ticularly useful when the printer tape of the required information is
not available for any reason.
The information is stored in serial groups called runs, a run being
all of the results and messages stored from the point when a cassette
is inserted and the START button is pressed, to the point when no
more cassettes or STAT samples are inserted and the instrument
reverts to the standby mode and displays “Cryoscope Ready”.
When the recall button is pressed at “Cryoscope Ready”,
“Recall 1 Run” is displayed. Only the results from the last run are
available if barcoding has been selected, but if barcoding was not
selected, the operator may either recall the last run accomplished or
may select up to 9 runs by means of the numeric keypad or the < or
> button. When more than one run is selected, the output runs will
be sequential, ending with the last run accomplished.
NOTE If the tests to be recalled were run with either batch num-
bering or barcode scanning enabled, the same mode must be
enabled during RECALL for the recalled results to be valid.
