3.11 Gas connection errors
Error Possible cause/Suggested action
Gas
connection
has not
passed the
corresponding
test
Cause: No pressure from gas cylinder.
Action: Check if gas cylinder is open
Cause: Pressure supplied to
Anoxomat should be 1.75 ± 0.15 bar
(25.5 ± 2.0 psi)
Action: Check output pressure on the
regulator
Cause: The regulator gauge does not
indicate actual pressure
Action: Check actual pressure in the
Process Report and adapt the setting
of the regulator
Cause: Gas cylinder is almost empty
and can no longer provide stable
pressure.
Cause: Check cylinder pressure on
the regulator
Action: Gas flow is restricted (e.g., a
kink in the gas tube) Check the gas
tube.
3.12 Pump time exceeded error
Error Possible cause/Suggested action
Pump time exceeded.
Cause: Jar was disconnected during
evacuation.
Action: Reconnect the jar
Cause: Lid of jar was opened during
recipe.
Action: Close and retighten the clamp
Cause: Pump is losing capacity.
Action: Pump needs to be cleaned or
serviced..
3.13 Fill time exceeded errors
Error Possible cause/Suggested action
Fill time exceeded.
Cause: Enough pressure but not
enough gas flow.
Action: Check for kinks in the gas
tube. Open the gas supply fully or
replace gas cylinder if it is nearly
empty
Cause: Gas inlet port restricted or
blocked by debris
Action: Contact your local Anoxomat
distributor or Advanced Instruments
Cause: Jar was disconnected during
filling.
Action: Reconnect jar and restart the
recipe
Cause: Lid of jar was opened during
program.
Action: Close and retighten the
clamp. Restart the recipe
Cause: Lid was not tightened enough
with the jar lid clamp, allowing gas to
escape during last stages of the filling
process.
Tighten the jar clamp and restart.
