Performing Calibration
Before starting the calibration, make sure that the
standards and controls are in the correct positions in the
turntable.
1. Press Start.
2. The instrument tests the 2000, 850, 300, and
0mOsm/kg calibration standards five time each.
For each calibration sample, the instrument pipettes the
sample, tests it, and then cleans the pipette in
preparation for the next sample test.
- Indicates a successful sample calibration after 5
tests.
- Indicates a calibration failure. The instrument
tries one more time to calibrate the sample, and if it
fails again, the full calibration is canceled.
