4.4 Test in progress
Once a sample test is in progress, the user sees the screen shown in Figure 4.7.
Figure 4.7: Test in Progress
While a test is in progress, the Main screen updates, along with the test progress. The status
bar located on the top right of the screen shows:
• TESTING with a yellow background while the test is in progress
• READY with green background when the system is idle
• ERROR with red background when there is a fatal system error
Located in the middle of the turntable tube display is the test progress bar. This bar updates
based on the progress of the individual tube being tested. After a tube is finished testing, the
results corresponding with the tube are reported on the right side of the screen. Here the user
can view the Position, Result in mOsm, and Sample ID (if enabled). The test results are also
printed.
After a tube is tested, the color of the corresponding tube changes in the turntable tube display.
Refer to the Main screen legend in Chapter 3 for additional information. The user can end the
test at any point by pressing CANCEL. While a sample test is in progress, the user can load
more samples onto the turntable, by pressing LOAD MORE.
4.5 Load more
NOTE: The load more function is available if the turntable has empty tube positions. If the
turntable is full, LOAD MORE is disabled.
To load more samples onto the turntable, press LOAD MORE at any point during the testing
(Figure 4.6). The message “Load more… Please wait” appears.
Once LOAD MORE is pressed, the system completes testing the current sample. When the
test is complete, the turntable moves to the next available test position to the loading position
(Figure 4.3). The status now shows READY, indicating the table finished all movement and is
now ready for loading.
NOTE: If Sample ID is enabled, the user must enter the Sample ID either manually or by
scanning the barcode.
