8.8 Solenoid
From the Diagnostics screen, press SOLENOID to enter the Solenoid Test screen (Figure
8.11).

This screen allows the user to test the functionality of the instruments solenoid.
• Press IMPACT to activate the solenoid.
• Press EXIT to return to the Diagnostics screen.
8.9 Cleaning
From the Diagnostics screen, press CLEANING to enter the Probe Cleaning screen (Figure
8.12). This screen is where the user can lower the sample probe for cleaning purposes.

• The user must remove the turntable, then press LOWER PROBE to lower the sample
probe. Once the probe lowers, the user now has easy access to clean the probe.
• After cleaning the probe, press DONE to return the probe back to the home position.
• Press EXIT to return to the Diagnostics screen.
