7.10 Restrictions
The Restrictions screen is only accessible to Supervisors. To change restriction settings, press
RESTRICTIONS. The user is prompted to select a user, then enter the password. The Service
screen opens. (Figure 7.27) Use this screen to change the privileges given to operators such as
requiring User ID & Sample ID for testing, and selecting password expiration.
• If changes are made press SAVE.
• Press EXIT to return to the Settings screen.

7.10.1 Required for test:
This is where the user can change settings regarding testing. To make a change, press on the
desired option, a checkmark indicates the option is enabled.
• User ID required indicates a User ID and password must be entered before a sample
test is started.
• Sample ID required indicates each sample loaded requires a Sample ID to be entered.
7.10.2 Allow operators to:
Use this to change the privileges given to users. To make a change, press on the desired
option. A checkmark indicates the option is enabled.
7.10.3 Select password expiration:
Use this to set the password expiration time: by default passwords never expire. Password
expiration can be set to either every 30, 60, or 90 days.
