7.3.1 Adding a user
To add a user account, press ADD. The Add New User screen displays (Figure 7.6). The
supervisor needs to enter both an ID, Password, and select an Access Level. Passwords ARE
case sensitive.
To enter an ID, press the keyboard icon to open the Keyboard screen and enter the ID
and press ENTER.
To enter a password, press the keyboard icon to open the Keyboard screen. Use the
keyboard to enter the password and press ENTER. After entering ID and a password,
the access level must be selected.
After all fields are entered, press SAVE then press EXIT to return to the Users screen.

7.3.2 Access level
There are two levels of access for users: operator and supervisor. The privileges of these two
levels differs.
7.3.3 Supervisor
A supervisor can login to any screen. A Gold Key indicates only a supervisor is granted access.
The supervisor can change the privileges given to the operators, this is done in the
Restrictions screen. (See Restrictions section.) A supervisor can also access the Service
screen to perform software and firmware updates and to export or delete databases.
7.3.4 Operator
An operator’s privileges are dependent on how the supervisor sets the restrictions. The possible
privileges of operators are: Do Alignment, Change Date/Time, Change Language, Change
LIS/LAN, Enter Probe Resistance, and Change Hardware Options. A Silver Key indicates an
Operator has access to a given screen.
7.3.5 Deleting a user
To delete a user, select the desired user and press DELETE.
A message displays (Figure 7.7) “Do you really want to delete this user?”
Press YES and the user is deleted.
