• For the block motor only, press the up arrow on the screen to move the block motor to
the engaged position. Press the down arrow on the screen to move the block motor to
the home position.
• Press PROBE WIPE to test a wipe process. The table moves to the selected wipe
position, then the probe moves downward into the turntable wipe position. PROBE WIPE
toggles to PROBE HOME. Press PROBE HOME to home the probe.
8.2.2 Turntable
The turntable motor can be used to rotate the turntable to various positions listed on the right
side of the screen (Load, Test, Wipe, and Home).
• The user selects a position on the turntable (position 1-20).
• Press the button corresponding to the turntable state position required (LOAD, TEST,
WIPE, and HOME).
• After a position is selected, the turntable motor can now rotate to the correct turntable
position based on the user’s selection.
LOAD
Press
LOAD to move the turntable to the load position of the selected tube
position. The load position is when the selected position is facing the user. The
selected position should be aligned with the opening in the front of the
evaporation cover.
TEST
Press
TEST to move the turntable to the test position of the selected tube
position. The test position is when the selected position is in alignment with the
sample probe and cooling block assemblies.
WIPE
Press
WIPE to move the turntable to the wipe position of selected tube
position. The wipe position is located in between each tube position. The wipe
positions are not numbered on the turntable.
HOME
Press
HOME to home the turntable motor. The turntable performs a complete
rotation and stops when position 1 is in the test position. This indicates the
turntable reached home.
