• The OsmoTECH PRO was factory calibrated and the calibration data is stored within
its memory. The instrument is ready to begin all testing, as soon as the instrument is
removed from packaging.
• Advanced Instruments recommends that you recalibrate the OsmoTECH PRO in any
of the following cases:
o The reference solution test results are out of specification
o The instrument is serviced or its hardware replaced
o The ambient temperature changed more than 5 °C since last calibration
o Calibration is required based on laboratory regulations
• The system guides you through 2-point or 3-point calibration
