3.2.3.1.4 – Ultrasonics Configuration Menu
NOTE: The information in this section is FOR REFERENCE ONLY. The control and configuration of the
ultrasonic unit shall only be undertaken, or supervised, by a trained and authorised Advanced
Sensors Ltd Engineer. These settings cannot be accessed by users with Limited or Standard
access.
Functions of this menu are view only and can only be modified by an AS authorized Engineer. The following Ultrasonic
menus are for reference only to illustrate menu options, allow the user to view the current ultrasonic configuration and
may be required to assist an Advanced Sensors approved representative with remote diagnosis.
The ‘Ultrasonic Settings’ menu, Figure 57, displays the ‘Cleaning Settings’ for the system. This allows fine-tuning of the
power levels and timings for the ultrasonic’s and should only be configured by authorized Advanced Sensors personnel.
These settings include % power, Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Period (in ms) and the % PWM Ratio optimized for the
cleaning and homogenizing cycles.

The following menu, as shown in Figure 58, lists the optimized cleaning frequencies for set temperature ranges
(increments of 5
o
C). For every 5
o
C temperature change the system will automatically adjust the homogenization and
cleaning frequencies to maintain routine operation.
