Cable Preparation Problems
Contaminated Dielectric
When a cable is cut, contamination of the dielectric can occur from
cuttings or shrapnel from the outer or inner conductor. This type of
contamination can cause problems and change the connector model
compensation needed. See Figure 2-5 and Figure 2-6.
