Questionable Status Register
The questionable status register monitors the instrument’s condition to
see if anything questionable has happened to it. It is looking for
anything that might cause an error or a bad measurement like a
hardware problem, an out of calibration situation, or a unusual signal.
All the bits are summary bits from lower-level event registers.
Bit Condition Operation
3 Power summary The instrument hardware has detected a
power unleveled condition.
4Temperature
summary
The instrument is still warming up.
5 Frequency
summary
The instrument hardware has detected an
unlocked condition or a problem with the
external frequency reference.
8 Calibration
summary
The instrument has detected a hardware
problem while doing the automatic internal
alignment process.
9Integrity
summary
The instrument has detected a questionable
measurement condition such as: bad timing,
bad signal/data, timeout problem, signal
overload, or “meas uncal”.
