Post Repair Procedures
4-5
If a manual performance verification test fails:
1. Verify that the test setup is correct.
• For I/Q Calibration and Self Tests
— Confirm that all external cables, including GPIB, LAN, and USB cables, are disconnected from the signal generator.
• For Relative Frequency Range and Accuracy Verification
— Verify that the cables are connected correctly.
— Verify that the spectrum analyzer is set to external reference.
• For Leveled Output Accuracy Verification
— Verify you are using the appropriate power sensor.
— Normally, power sensor calibration factors are automatically downloaded to the power meter when the power meter turns on. If
this does not occur, manually enter the correct calibration factors for the power sensor you are using.
— Verify the power sensor is properly calibrated to the power meter.
2. If the tests setups are correct, go to “Troubleshooting Performance Test Problems” on page 1-72.
