Steering Brake Clutch Version
Re-routing steering brake
clutch cables
On steering brake clutch machines it is neces-
sary to re-route the cables that operate the
steering brake clutch after the steering handle
was swivelled through 180° to ensure the r ight
steering brake lever acts on the right wheel,
etc.

Remove the steering brake clutch cables (5)
at the bottom of the machine:
A Remove R-clip (4).
B Remove cables (5)
from retarders (3), pull-
ing them down and out.
C Swivel the cables out-
ward.
D Remove the cables
from the cross-bar (2).

Re-attach each cable (5) to the opposite end
of the cross-bar and reverse the above order
to re-attach them to the retarders.

Remember to refit the R-clip (4) to secure
the cables from working loose.
