Mowing
l
Generously oil all gliding parts of the
cutter bar with Bio-lubricating oil.
l
Start engine as described in “Com-
missioning”.
l
Engage 1st or 2nd gear as required
– shifter (B/6).
l
Engage mowing drive, move shifter
(B/8) forward (in travel direction).
l
Move right hand lever (B/11) down
to forward position.
l
Press down safety lever (B/2).
l
If necessary, release central brake
(B/7).
l
Slowly release clutch hand lever (B/3)
(pawl unlocks) while pressing the throt-
tle.
For direction change from forward to
reverse, proceed as follows:
l
Move speed control lever to idling gas
position.
l
Pull clutch hand lever (B/3) and hold.
l
Pull hand lever for F/R (B/11) up (re-
verse is engaged) and hold with right
hand.
l
Slowly release clutch hand lever
while pressing the throttle.
For direction change from reverse to
forward proceed likewise, but release
hand lever F/R.
Note for Mowing
After mowing or in case of grass clog-
ging:
l
Move F/R hand lever to “neutral”
(pawl (B/10) is locked). The mower
comes to a stop but not the knives, thus
freeing the cutter bar from grass.

If cleaning becomes neces-
sary during operation, the
engine must be switched off
and the spark plug connector re-
moved for safety reasons.
