Gearbox: Basic Machine
Check oil level in gearbox each time
before you take the machine into opera-
tion and after every 8 operating hours
(oil dip-stick and filling opening (A/10 or
C/10). With the mower parked in hori-
zontal position, the oil level is between
the notches “max” and “min”.

Screw out oil dip-stick, clean with
clean cloth and screw back in.
l
Take dip-stick out again and read oil
level, refill transmission oil, if necessary.
Always carry out transmission oil
change in due time:
l
Keep the oil filler plug (A/10 and
C/10), the drain plug (A/13 and C/13)
and the surrounding area extremely
clean to avoid dirt getting into the trans-
mission.
l
Carry out transmission oil change af-
ter the first 50 operating hours and then
at intervals of 200 operating hours. En-
sure the engine has operating tempera-
ture.
l
Inspect all seals and replace them, if
necessary.

Drive-Wheels
l
When commissioning the mower
and each time you change wheels,
check and tighten wheel screws and
nuts after the first 2 operating hours with
100 Nm (10 kpm). Proceed likewise
when doing maintenance work.
l
Check tyre air pressure regularly. For
smooth driving, make sure that there is
the same pressure in front and rear tyres
respectively.
l
After the first 2 operating hours,
tighten fastening nuts (A/12 or C/12) on
hub adapters with a torque of 100 Nm.
