4 Programming your telephone
4.1 Initializing your voice mailbox
Light flashes (blue).
Enter your personal code then record your name according to voice guide instructions.
Your personal code is used to access your voice mailbox and to lock your telephone.
A weak personal code will be rejected by the system:
Identical 4 digits (0000, 1111,).
A simple sequence of 4 digits (0123, 1234,).
Make sure you choose a strong password with at least 4 digits. The list of weak passwords provided
does not contain all the possibilities.
4.2 Customizing your voice greeting
You can replace the greeting message by a personal message.
Voice mail / New voice message / x New voice messages
Enter your personal code.
Perso options Greeting msg Perso greeting Record message.
End End of recording.
Use one of the following:
o Accept Apply.
o Restart Re-record a message.
o Replay Replay message.
To return to the default message.

4.3 Modify the password for your phone set
Reach the 'Menu' page.
Settings
Phone
Password
Old code (4 digits).
Apply
New code (4 digits).
Apply
Enter new password again to confirm.
Apply
This code acts as a password controlling access to programming functions and the user 'Set
Locking ' function (code by default: 0000).
