4.5 Audio environment
The audio quality depends on your working environment. If the option is available in your system
configuration, you can indicate the type of environment in which your phone will be used. The
audio will then be adjusted accordingly.
These settings can be set by your administrator. If this is the case, you will not able to change them.
Set the environment for your desk phone:

• Select the most realistic environment:
o Private: quiet environment. The desk
phone may be in a private office, for
example.
o Open space: the desk phone is located in
an open-plan office. In this case, your
contact should not be able to hear
people speaking around you while in
conversation.
o Meeting: the desk phone is located in a
meeting room. In this case, everyone in
the large room should be able to be
heard clearly and be able to hear the
person speaking on the other end of the
line.
o Noisy: the desk phone is located in a
noisy environment (such as a
manufacturing plant). In this case, noise
cancellation is enhanced.
o Standard: legacy mode (default mode).
