Power Supplies
OmniSwitch 6465 switches can use the following power supplies:
The power supplies connectors are located at the front of the switch chassis. Refer to “OmniSwitch 6465
Chassis Details” for more information on component locations. Two connectors are provided. If a second
power supply is connected the two power supplies will not load share but the second power supply will
provide redundancy.
Please note that the chassis does not provide an on/off switch. Connecting a power supply to a power
source will boot the switch. Likewise, disconnecting all installed power supplies from a power source will
power off the switch.
