Calculate Additional Bus
Capacitance
Additional bus capacitance is the sum of all follower IAM, AM, and IPIM
module capacitance values for your Bulletin 2094 common-bus modules.
Specifically, this includes the capacitance values for each of these modules:
Each follower IAM (converter and inverter) module
Each AM module on the follower IAM module power rail
Each IPIM module on the follower IAM module power rail
If you are using Kinetix 6200 (sercos) drives or Kinetix 6500 (integrated
motion on EtherNet/IP) drives, calculate additional bus capacitance in this
appendix and enter the value in Module Properties>Power tab>Bus
Capacitance.
In the example on page 270
, the value is 790 µF.
