Appendix F Changing the Default IDN Parameter Values
In this example, the new tag creates a source value (that you entered)
that the MSG instruction uses to overwrite the existing P-0-052 IDN
value and is tied to digital input 1 (IOD-41).
6. Click the Communication tab.
The Communication tab opens.
7. Click Browse.
8. Select your Bulletin 2094 module.
9. Click OK.
The MSG instruction writes the new IDN value to your drive.
10. Click OK to close the Message Configuration dialog box.
TIP To verify your sercos IDN Write instruction was successful, you can
perform another sercos IDN Read instruction for the IDN in
question.
