6. Prepare Endozime
AW Triple Plus with APA (Endozime
®
AW) detergent solution according to the
manufacturer's recommendations (½ oz. per gal. / 4 ml. per liter) in the supplied digital ultrasound
cleaner. Immerse the tip in the detergent and sonicate for a minimum of 10 minutes.
7. After sonication, rinse the tip thoroughly under running tap water.
8. Shake the tip to remove water and dry using a clean, lint-free cloth. Pressurized air may be used (< 20
PSI / < 1.4 Bar).
9. Visually examine the tip again to assure that all visible soil has been removed.

Sterilizing of the FOCUS & FOCUS:IN tips in Autoclave (before first use and in between
treatments)
1. Wrap the tip in two layers of 1-ply polypropylene wrap (KC600).
2. Sterilize the wrapped Focus & Focus IN tips according to the following sterilizer settings in the table below.
Sterilizing the Glide Tip ( prior to first treatment)
The following sterilization instructions are pertinent only to the multi-use tip. The disposable Glide tips
are to be discarded after the treatment.
1. Wrap the tip in two layers of 1-ply polypropylene wrap (KC600).
2. Sterilize the wrapped roller tip according to the following sterilizer settings in the table below.
