9.3 System Messages
Measurement errors are indicated by type. Confirm with button Operate.
Acceleration
The instrument was accelerated too fast across the sample or the scan direction
was changed too fast. Repeat the measurement.
Scan length
The required scan length has not been reached completely. Repeat until a short
audio confirmation is heard. Small areas can be measured by moving the instru-
ment back and forth.
Speed
You have moved the measurement unit too quickly or unevenly over the sample.
Repeat the measurement.
